Shouldn't their questions (including dumb ones like "if man came from apes, why are there still apes?") be put in the Biology section and not in the Religion & Spirituality section?

Of course they should. But they post here because they can get ignorant responses that correspond to their own ignorance.

Perhaps for the same reason advocates of evolution continue to ask questions in the Religion and Spirituality section...

I am sure you really know the answer. No one cares about Evolution in the Biology section as they almost all take it as fact. So the Evo's come here baiting the religious people trying to shake their faith or ridicule them.

Funny, because in this regard they are very much like a religion themselves quoting Darwin like a prophet and proselytizing us to repent before we die in our ignorance. Funnier still is the fact that they have no carrot to offer with their stick. Once you believe in Evo and Science you get ... nothing! You exist you die and no one mourns your passing.

Good point. Guess it's because many of the questions are from Christians, and they view it as a religious issue because of the conflicts with the bible version of events.

You answer your own question in your first line really: They're questioning evolution, not asking questions about evolution.

It's because evolution is seen as a religion....mostly because it goes against some religions.
Why is if man came from apes, why are they still apes a bad question? Isn't that what people are here for, to ask?

They'd get laughed out of the Biology section.

Yes, they should. But for some odd reason they seem to think that evolution is a rival religion of their's.

They're objecting to it from a theological not a scientific perspective so I suppose this is the correct board to do that.

They tried it and were driven back by floods of quick refutations. They'd rather preach to the choir.
