If you're going to put a rating on the bible, then you need to put a rating for everything else! I've seen male gay billboards in broad daylight! I've seen people walk out with less clothes than I wear in the summertime...and this is during the wintertime! I've heard more cussing and swearing from every day people. I seriously doubt these people read the bible.

As for it being an "Adult book" and not let the kids read it, that's hogwash. If I did that, then I would be aganst Torah.

Deut 11:19

19 And ye shall teach them your children , speaking of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.
KJV

If my house was a house of the world, then, yeah, my children would find out the "R" ratings in it. As it is, they are raised with the knowledge and understandings of the mysteries and beauty the Torah holds.

Why would I hold back the very fiber of what society is? Aren't our laws based around the 10 commandments?

First off all that question is offensive to people, especially
me. I am christian. Also, most books in the U.S.A. are not rated, unless they are manga. The Bible should not be rated
"R", because it isn't like some manga's with nudity in it,
there are no pictures of nudity/sex so, the bible should not be rated.

This is kind of a ridiculous question!

Not at all. It is political correctness that needs to be edited. It freaks me out when I see Christians up in arms because someone uses words or images that are in the Bible. Modern western Christians seem to have made a lot of trouble out of nothing regarding these things. I am a Christian, but I don't think we need to refrain from saying hell or damn or from drinking wine. Jesus didn't, and isn't He our example? So my answer is no. People don't need to be shielded from the truth.

No, but it is an adult book. It has a lot of violence in it and things children don't need to know right off, but there is a tremendous amount in it for children, and the Bible stories are the best kids stories there are for children, plus they treach moral values.

And Christians are only able to witness the bueaty of feternity if they are married under strict law...

You must be reading a different Bible then I have read,
I found it pretty hard to get through it, not exciting at all.

Hey, if you get your kicks from it, it holds your attention, it must be doing its job.

Rated (T) for truth.

Isa 43:9 Let all the nations be gathered together, and let the people be assembled: who among them can declare this, and shew us former things? let them bring forth their witnesses, that they may be justified: or let them hear, and say, It is truth.
