i am about to be a teenager so i have to know this stuff

It depends on the state you live in. Ask your parents or another adult. Or just call your local DMV office.

That depends upon state law. If you're about to be a teen, you still have a few years to go.

Most US states don't issue licenses until you're 16 or 16 1/2 with driver's ed. Without driver's ed, you're looking at 17 or 18 in most states. Check with your state DMV office for complete details.

in michigan here u can be 14 if u take drivers training and pay for the courses, but usually its 18 to just go and take it and get it!
