listen to what they said, i took the test and I passed it with flying colors. I didnt know much about mechanics but apparently I knew alot more than I was giving myself credit for, so just take a shot and if not ask your recruiter to do it again

yes, the asvab is not that hard but alot of people do not pass these test. number 1 the mech, electric, parts of the exam dont count against your score. make sure u answer ever part of the test even if its wrong or u are about to run out of time they dont grad how many u missed but your score is compared to every else taking the test. problems my exist if english is not your first lang because of the translate and time become a factor. so good luck

it has alot of percent increase and decrease questions on the math/arithmetic. the word knowledge is pretty simple but i kkinda found the paragraph comprehension a little confusing because almost all the answers were right. but yea, the math was a little simple. Also if you pass the test you will need another test called the AIMS test. the AIMS test is for GED holders. no, its not the one given in high schools. its like those questions asked when you apply for a job. situational questions. another thing, you CAN fail the AIMS test and i think you have to wait 6 months until you can take it again... study alot of percent problems. goodluck

Don't sweet it. I barely passed english class so many times I went and took the asvab and my english comprehension was considered great.
Edit* lol it really isn't that great.... But according to the Asvab test it was.

If you can just barely pass a normal standardized test, you will do fantastic on the ASVAB. The ASVAB isn't really about how smart you are, it's a more common sense, intelligence test.

I wouldn't worry about it. I'm sure you'll do fine. Remember Audie Murphy didn't even finish school and became the most decorated man in WWII.

Don't sweat it. Just answer the question even if you don't really know the answer. The test isn't really that hard but it is draining.
