"Inner Peace" is just another name for having cultivated a calm mind that understands the nature of things in the universe... i.e. empty of inherent existence, or coming into being via causes and conditions, impermanent and changing... a mind that doesn't grasp or cling to things we generally label (incorrectly) as "good", etc. nor aversions to things we (incorrectly) label as "bad", etc.

When we cultivate such a calm mind, even if we haven't perceived emptiness directly, it's a thing you could call "Inner Peace" because you're not buffeted about like a leaf in a storm by every little foo foo that comes your way.

Do not strive for enlightenment. You must strive for nothing to find the truth. Also, immerse yourself in suffering to find happiness.
