Why do So many Ask Questions about GOD and have Never Read HIS WORD to see what the Answers are Nor WHO GOD SAYS HE IS? ? ?

(2Timothy 3:13-to-17) But evil men and seducers will go forward to worse, deceiving and being deceived.

(2Ti 3:14) But continue in the things that you have learned and have been assured of, knowing from whom you have learned them,

(2Ti 3:15) and that from a babe you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise to salvation through faith in Christ Jesus.

(2Ti 3:16) All Scripture is God-breathed, = = and is profitable for = = doctrine, = = for reproof, = = for correction, = = for instruction in righteousness,

(2Ti 3:17) that the man of God may be perfected, = = thoroughly furnished to every good work.

Thanks, RR

Good question. Its because reading the bible brings conviction, and they don't want to be convicted. They want to live life THEIR way.

Probably because people would rather ask their friends or strangers than get it from the direct source.
You know, it is easier to bash or try to discredit something you don't know versus trying to find out more about it first and then you can make an informed decision.
Then there are also those individuals or groups that just don't care or want to know based on their upbringing, belief, or ignorance.

Anyone that says they do not believe in something is a fool including atheists and agnostics. Life is based upon your soul believing in something and that which drives us forward. But for me, I would rather believe in a God and the teachings rather than wait until the end and find out there really was and I was too foolish or stupid to think there wasn't...What do you lose by having faith?

if you notice all of the responses you should see that they all are based on the Bible having been read (crap or Not written by God). Of course not understanding something would lead to people not reading something. As would receiving mixed signals from the people quoting from the Bible. So people ask questions.

I sincerely doubt that there is anyone nowadays especiallly that has not ever read the bible or heard scriptures from the bible even in christmas cards.

People ask question about god without reading "his word" because of the belief that bible is not his word i believe it is but it's hard for people to believe something they can't see and even harder for them to belive that that thing(God) wrote a book explaining life lessons

YA's is a secular forum. Not everyone who answers is seculary, however. Some of us do try to post from a Scriptural point of view.

Because they don't know.. and asking is good!

You need to take this question off!

The day a person stops asking... is a very sad day!

You really need to take this off!

You know this answer and ask this question as a know it all..
I am a believer also.. this is not right! why do you do this!
You are not winning anyones heart this way.. But rather showing your frustration..

Just be there to answer.. and not through your eyes but God's.

Don't forget that various MEN wrote the Bible--God did not. The Bible was written many years after the facts--then translated into all kinds of different languages. Errors were bound to occur. This is not to mention that there are several versions of the Bible (the one I've used exclusively is the King James Version).

I'm not sure what point you are trying to make, but I have read and studied the bible, cover to cover, more than once, when I was a christian, and that is what led me away from Christianity.
Churches really shouldn't encourage the actual in-depth study of the bible or they might keep more people in the pews.
Peace

Because the interpretation of the scriptures by religious fanatics made in order to prove their own beliefs are usually much more fun than the scriptures themselves.

If they were to read the BIBLE they would get GODS answer to their question.
Most would not like that, so they ask questions in this type of format and hope that some compromising Christian will give them the answer they want.
