It is said:
that leaders are appointed by God and that leaders come only from God. But keep in mind that they can make decisions when faced with power, but why do we hate leadership?

I do not hate him.
I just don't like the way he presents himself, and I am not very fond of the choices he has made.

George Bush was not appointed by God--he was elected by the people.

He DID take an oath before God to "protect and defend the Constitution of the United states"--an oath he has repeated violated.

Go look in the Bible and see what it says should be done with oath-breakers.

BTW: If you did grant that "leaders are appointed by God" then the conservative Christians in this country were defying God's will for 8 years every time they criticized Clinton. You can't have it both ways.

Are you saying that Saddam Hussein was appointed by God? Or just the leaders you like? Your President isn't hated, he is despised as a lying, corrupt moron without a shred of integrity. He has severely damaged your country's reputation. If he was appointed by God, then God decided to destroy America.

i don't hate leadership, just abuse of power.
here are some reasons I hate Bush:
1. Refusing to ban the making of chemical weapons in america because it would be "bad for American businesses"
2. Pulling troops away from the hunt for Osama to get revenge on saddam. Osama is still out there laughing at the west because of this.
3. Refusing to join the world court, whose job is to put war criminals on trial. What are you afraid of, Mr Bush?
4. Knowing that hurricane katrina was going to hit, and doing nothing about it.

There are many more reasons...

So you're saying that God appointed George Dubya Bush? In your mind then, God also appointed Hitler?

Not everyone hates leadership--but many of us hate poor leadership--and needless deaths.

Well, I think, since there are a lot of Muslims in Palestine, at least more than in Israel, you might ask what would Mohamed do. Jesus was a political pacifist and would probably tell the Palestinians just to leave and not fight back. Mohamed, on the other hand, would organize an army and go after his aggressors, which is just what Hamas is doing, so kudos for Hamas.

There are some things that I disagree with that President Bush has done, or hasn't done, but overall I think he will go down as a great president who had the courage to take on those who hate and want to kill us. We see what inaction brings...nothing done with the first world trade attack, the bombing of embassies overseas, the attack on the USS Cole. Inaction brought 3000 deaths on 9/11. We haven't been attacked since then and that is not by accident.

An who exactly do you suppose came up with that idea that our leaders are from God.

Do you suppose the fact that the emperor Constantine who saw him self as being chose by God being the one who commissioned the creation of the first Bible has anything to do with it.

Love and blessings Don

which country's president are you talking about? England only has a prime minister?

Yes it is true that the Only God appoints leaders, but the leaders we have today are from god appointed, no one cares about religion these days.

Leaders ARE apointed by God....but many usurp that power. Like the Idiot-in-Chief that is in office now making a mockery of us!

Imagine....he wants all students to be above average in their grades. Well.....duh! don't you need an above average AND a BELOW average in order to have an average?
