alot of rules are interpreted from the bible, from relatively obscure passages. In Genesis chapter 3 God says explicitly not to eat the fruit from the apple tree, Adam and Eve did it and God opened a can of whoop ass on em. Why havent we learned from the mistakes of Adam and Eve?

By the way this isnt an anti religious question and I dont hate anyone. It is just a question about something I have wondered about. So calm down all the over sensitive people who had a big cry about this question!

He said," do not eat the fruit from the tree of knowledge"
For some reason we take that to be an apple tree.
It may have been something else.

That was only written in the book of Genesis and no where else. Right ? So , therefore it does not apply to us as it was only a warning to Adam and Eve. When they broke God's warning they were excommuicated from the Garden.
There is nothing in scripture that states for the rest of us " not to eat an apple ". Correct ?
So it does not apply to us.

The apple was a representation. It was an apple from the tree of knowledge meaning of good and things which god did not intend for man.

initially like N pronounced you have lots of errors on your resource of training of Christianity. All I see is a trend. You atheists say you be responsive to greater of the bible than Christians, yet no. you purely study what fits your perceptive of God. 2d, in case you do not additionally be responsive to what's incorrect, then i merely won't be able to take you heavily.

You hate Judaic-Christianity irrationally. You haven't read Genesis, and you don't intend too...but you despise what you don't know.

I.E. there was no Apple tree.
