There are several versions of the story why it was pulled off the shelved in the U.K. The most credible appears to deal with the Leprechaun mascot offending Irish sensibilities.

There is a petition to bring the cereal back to the U.K. You can sign and become a part of this petition by going to www.petitiononline.com (search for the Lucky Charm petition)

Also, you can voice your disapproval directly to General Mills. You can obtain your local contact information from www.generalmills.com

Don't fear, there is also an enterprising eBay seller that will ship your favorite cereal in the mean time.

Hope that you find this helpful!!
Best of Luck!!!

it was? wow that really sucks! they still sell it here in the US. i wonder why they would take it off the shelves?. why dont you write the company and ask them why?

if you really want some lucky charms, and you have no stores to go to to get them, then why don't you order some offline, im sure there is alot of places you can go to to find a place that sends cereals in the mail. Good Luck

They did? Canada still has the cereal. Well, the health officials check different food items and it may have been deemed unsafe to eat for various reasons. Also, if you didn't know, your government is trying to help fight child obesity, and lucky charms does have alot of calories due to thecereal and mostly the marshmallows. That really sucks though, not being able to eat lucky charms:(
