Yes, definately go tot the dentist. If you don't and you cracked the enamal (all teeth have this) then you could end up with serious cavitys. The denist can seal the teeth or evey do some cosmetic fix-ups.

You should see your dentist for an exam and x rays to determine the extent of the injuries besides what is visible. Sometimes the trauma of just chipping a tooth is enough to fracture the root causing a more serious and pressing problem to exist. The dentist can also advise you on how to repair or restore the chipped teeth. Sometimes they only need a little filing, done with a sanding disk, or a simple filling. The good part is if they don't hurt (air/water sensitivity) you don't have to be numbed to have them filed or filled. Most patients tolerate this very well and are appreciative of being advised to forgo the anesthesia. The anterior injections are slightly more uncomfortable than the others. Good luck and I hope everything works out for you.

Yes, you should go to the dentist. He or she will be able to tell if there is anything (other than filling or smoothing the chips) that needs to be done. I know someone that recently was in a similar situation. Her teeth looked fine, but she had a bit of an ache. Xrays revealed that her top jaw had a fracture right down the middle. It took a splint and a couple of months, but it is now healed. Insurance paid for everything. I think it was submitted through her car insurance plan.

I would get it checked and x-rayed just to document that you were injured in the accident. Pay the bill, since it will be minimal, and submit it to your car insurance. The thing is, even a minor chip tells you that your tooth was bumped. When a tooth is bumped, there is the chance that the nerve and blood vessles that enter through a tiny little hole inthe end of the root were damaged. It is COMMON for damage to go undetected for a period of many YEARS, but then you need a root canal treatment. If there is nothing else wrong with your tooth and you are not in any more accidents, you can claim that the damage was caused in this accident and your auto policy will pay for the additional treatment.

If it bothers you. Go to your dentist and see what they can do for you. If you don't mind having chipped teeth then don't worry about it.

See your dentist, he'll give you his expert advice. For cosmetic reasons, whether you're a male or female, you'll want to have something done. Good luck!!!

If you are from the south, no need to do anything, you will fit right in. If you are not from the south, then move to the south.
