sorry If I speel things wong but Im not posting this to learn how to speel what I want to know is why my friends and their older siblings are having sex at such a young age Im only 13 and my freinds are already having sex I personaly belive we should wait until we get married.Why are they rishing everything?

media. plain and simple. all movies and tv shows show that sex is a great and good-feeling thing. im 13 too and i think that doing it at our age is just nasty. if they are trying to be more grown-up and like movie stars, they are stupid. my and my friends are waiting at the very least another 5 years (but more likely 10 years) you are the smart friend, congratualtions

I didnt have sex until i was 17 1/2 (ill be 22 in april) and i thought it was love. Yea i was wrong. But when i was younger like around your age i didnt even think about that stuff. I have noticed that through the years young teens are starting to have sex at such a young age like even 12. I dont know why they rush, because they are risking getting pregnant or even catching and STD. Please wait til your ready. Focus on school and your life.

I don't know why teens are so rushed. It seems like people these days think it's embarrassing to be a 16 year old virgin, but it isn't. You should hold on to it as long as you can because once you lose it, it's gone. You should wait until you're with someone very special, because you wouldn't want to lose a part of yourself to someone that means nothing to you. It changes a lot of things too. And if you're 13, you're definitely too young for sex.

I think it's mostly hormones and since teenagers go through alot of physical growth changes at that time they either think since they are beginning to look grown up that they should start doing the things that "grown ups" do, that or they are infatuated with the new "toys" their body is growing and want to try them out. Either way, it's good to hold on to your virginity as long as possible as if it's your ticket to sanity throughout these years, and yeah-I think it's great to wait until you're married to do so. Stick with your values, don't let anyone convince you otherwise.

Mostly it is peer pressure, to be cool around their friends. Most people think now adyas if they dont, their friends will make fun of them for being a virgin. I think that it is a magical thing you waiting till you get married, and i hope to follow through with it. Once you have sex, you cant go back on it, you are no longer a virgin. They have ridiculously raging hormones, and they haven't matured enough to know how to control themselves better. They think it's a supposed sign of loyalty, even after only a month of dating. Then they wonder why things don't work out afterwards.

Don't follow their examples- I know a lot of people that've lost their virginity in high school/college and regret it sincerely. Sex is a kind of thing that becomes a reality when you become a teenager, and when everyone else has had it, you're compelled to do it too.

cause they think they r mature enough to go for the big one I am 13 too and I am waiting until I am married!!! Becaue there are dieases today that they probabky dont know bout and they just wait to do it to fit in cause it isnt worth haveing sex to fit in be safe and dont have sex if u do use a condom

They do it because they are unable to control their desires and thus cave in to pressures. Trying to be cool among their peers can also contribute to such act. Anyway, to each his own.
