well that is sad and yes i am in your shoes as we speak.i take care of my 77 year old mother who has been sickly for about 5 years now but she keeps hanging in there.she does exactly what the doctor tells her to do and she takes all her meds.the most important thing is to keep their spirits up.no matter what the disease is make sure you treat them the same.once you start treating them differently and feel sorry for them they too will feel sorry for themselves.we all live and sadly we all die but what's important is how we react to all of life's situations.be strong and remember all positive thoughts.

My dad has cancer (63). He has been on a rapid decline for the last 6 months and am worried that he won't see out the end of this year. I feel terrible because the cancer has affected his nerves and he is in pain all the time and cannot walk unaided. Cancer is one of the worst diseases to watch a loved one go through.
