No- salt raises blood pressure so I advise that you do not do this. If you are under a doctor's care, your doctor should advise you of a diet to follow, and possibly any medication.

No it would raise it even higher. A high salt intake is one of the causes of high blood pressure. Salt should be reduced in your diet.
The usual reason for drinking salty water (and only very mildly salted) is to combat dehydration.
Drinking plain water can help regulate the blood pressure and is good for both high and low blood pressure. It works in different ways in each case.

I wouldn't recommend that. Salt (NaCl) has a property to attract water inside the body, in other words, the fluids are retained in the body. The more the fluid volume retained, the higher the blood pressure goes. Thats why people who have high blood pressure are given medicine that help eliminate excess water and fluids from the body (diuretics and ace inhibitors). They are also advised to have a low salt diet.

Please tell me you are joking! Over use of salt in one's diet is what contributes to high blood pressure so drinking salty water not only tastes disgusting it can do you untold harm. Don't do it.
See your GP who will make sure you are on the correct medication and monitor you for perhaps the rest of your life.

No this is not true.whoever told you this is very misguided.Drop all salt in your diet. This has been known to lower blood pressure without the use of medicatiion. You will soon get used to being without salt and to help you to get used to NO SALT,instead sprinkle a few drops of lemon juice on food until you get used to it.

Certainly not! Salt increases blood pressure and dehydrates you. Too much salt can damage your kidneys too.
If you want to lower your blood pressure through a change in lifestyle, check out this link.

MOST DEFINITELY NOT!
Salt helps to increase your blood pressure so you should be trying to reduce your salt intake if possible.
One good way to do this is to steam your vegetables instead of boiling them, because you do not add salt in the steaming process.
