I am 17 years old, I am 5"7, and 84 pounds, and I am a cheerleader.
I eat normally, 3 meals a day, and I take in at least 1,200 calories a day. I exercise one hour a day, and I drink a lot of water, and I don't drink soda. I don't eat junk either.
If you saw me, would you say I was too skinny, or just fine?
I do see ribs coming out from my body.

You're waaay to low.. That's just scary. I'd hate to see your chest, I could probably count all your ribs.

get up to 115 honestly maybe 120. as for 1200 cals a day that is too low and our body is eating away your muscle! you are too skinny and you need to work out but not as much since you are also a cheerleader and you also burn off calories there. try to eat some junk food once in a while, eat when you are hungry and stop when you are full but eat everything in moderation! i understand that you need to look good but if your ribs show that is a clear sign that you need to change the lifestyle that you have right now! eat pastas, carbs-yes, i said carbs, and lots of protein every meal, eat 4 or more meals a day and big meals too since you have a high metabolism...if you not trying to put on weight does not work then see a doctor and they can help you with that. good luck.

Your Body Mass Index is about 13.2.
BMI of 15= starvation (where you digest your own organs and muscles to meet energy needs)
BMI of 17.5 or less= anorexic weight
BMI of 18.5 or less= underweight
Your BMI indicates that you are not just severely underweight, you are even beyond anorexic. Go see your doctor.
I think you probably burn up a LOT more calories than you consume. YES you are WAY too skinny. You can look up the dangers of anorexia, there are many websites about this.
Do you have regular periods? Don't you get tired all the time?
>MY EDIT<
You have to weigh at least 108 lbs for your current height and age to be at a healthy weight. Keep in mind that this changes as you grow older and possibly taller. Your minimal healthy weight will increase with age and height.
You can figure out whether you have a healthy weight for your age and height at the following web page:

Uh, that seems really low to me. That is like gymnyst weight and they are like 5'0" and below. You are probably a stick. You should be eating way more than 1200 calories a day. Try adding some snacks, they could be healthy, such as some fruit or something, but get some more in ya. You are below weight. Actually I'm 5'2" and figured out that if I went below 95 lbs. I would be considered anorexic. You are too skinny.

If you are concerned, please see your Doctor. EVERYONE has an opinion about everyone else's weight. Don't let general passersby, with no real concern for you, compare you to their personal measuring sticks! But honestly, would you be able to work-out for an hour daily if you didn't have the energy of a healthy body? You still have puberty to work through!
There is a new medical standard that can give you a better idea. Its called a BMI - or Body Mass Index. This is a little more volume specific than the old bone or frame size charts. Its not hard and fast, but will give you and your family an idea of what to look for.
I lost more than 111 lbs. Those who new me before the weight loss, swear I am anemic and ill. Those that met me after would still call me 'thick' - I have learned to love me and be healthy for me at my happy 160lbs
Good Luck!

Eat nourishing food with plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables being part of it. Chew each morsel at least 32 times. This will activate signal to the brain as soon as u have had enough. Besides this change in eating style, take regular light exercises and brisk walks every day. U will be able to gain/shed all extra weight gracefully and in a reasonable time span.

There is a right weight for everyone. According to a Body Mass Index calculator, you are underweight. But, BMI calculators can be wrong, and if you are still growing, they can be very wrong. I would check with your doctor with your concerns.

It is harmful for your body for you to be that skinny. You need about 2,200 calories at least a day. If you are working out everyday, then you need at least 2,000 each day.
