because politics is about slinging things at each other. that is assumed civic participation, and no questions really needed. go to the "politics" part of this section. that is where everyone usually is

Because most people are apathetic and disengaged from the world in which they live. They are also preoccupied with mindless endeavors such as sports, movie stars, and the latest fads.
