If you're on the same maturity level, it's okay. But honestly, even though 2 years is not a long time, 15 and 16 are very different ages. 16 and 18, or 18 and 20 seem like less of an age difference.. it's not the number, it's the maturity that counts.

So if you are comfortable with each other, and get along well, I say go for it. But make sure you are both on the same level, mentally. Good luck. :)

No but you're both still very young. He'll be 17 and graduating I'm assuming next year and you'll still be in highschool. If he goes to a university and lives in a dorm room, be very skeptical because college guys are crazy and all they wanna do is have sex with random people. Fortunately my highschool sweetheart didn't go to a university and found a good job after highschool. If you don't see yourself with this guy "long term" then have fun.

No absolutely not... there is nothing wrong with that, most states have what they call a 2 year law, so when he turns 18 youll be 16 so, nothing will even be illegal. In all as long as you love him, dont think abouth what others think, or about the age, it is about your feelings. Tyler

In your teen years, 2 years is more like 10 years in maturity difference. He's more mature and probably ready for things beyond your comfort zone. Personally, I say no.

No...unless you aren't telling us everything. Girls mature at a quicker pace than boys (generally). If you are happy, then it sounds great. If your parents aren't happy then you have to discuss that with them. Is your boyfriend responsible, kind and accountable?
Good Luck.

No, unless he's using you. Age doesn't matter, but in high school it sometimes happens that older guys take advantage of younger girls because they know they are naive. So watch for red flags.
