Perhaps it happens so often to you that you just are used too it and therefore pay little attention.

I have the same problem. i need some kind of extreme sign in front of my face to know whether its ok or not to make a move.
He is afraid of what would happen if you found out that he likes you and afraid of total rejection including the loss of the friendship.
if you like him, flirt a little bit, maybe make a mild move, let him know that it's okay.
if you don't like him like that, don't do any of that, still be nice to him but every once and a while back away a little when he gets close to you or something, to let him know its not okay.
I have a lot of experience here, email me if you want to go more into detail.

No offence but if you are very self concience then you might be more full of your self than you think. which is not a bad thing either. You must remember that you must process your feelings first before you can deal with other peoples feelings. Hope this helps a little.

Just pay a little more attention to him tooooooooo! Make delibarate efforts to chat him up, stand near him, smile when you see him, hold his hand now and then, go to cafeteria together, etc., etc. and even tell him, eventually, if he would'n tell you, that you like him! Take it from there! Thats if you like him as you say and obviously you DO! All the best!

I've always had the same "problem". I used to think everyone else was just delusional, but then decided I'm oblivious. Frankly, I've grown to like it...it keeps me from jumping to conclusions.

Sounds like you're pretty normal to me. The question is do you like him? It's obvious he's told somebody he is interested in you. He
is probably waiting for you to respond. It's hard when you are shy.

maybe you just haven't learned the signs of someone liking you yet. don't worry, it will come in time. you're probably used to the way he usually is and didn't notice when he started acting different

because you don't notice it either you are busy talking to someone else or do you like another guy? because if you do then you are probably watching this other guy instead of the said guy
