It depends on the type of the wall.. regular wall 12 inches in the field and 8 inches on the perimeters firewalls vary some have the 12 & 8 some have 8 & 6 some are even closer depending on the hour rating of the wall.

Wall studs are usually 16" or 24" apart.Vertically most of the time 6 screws spaced evenly to every 4 foot should work just fine.Commercial applications usually require screws every 8" vertically.Happy hanging!

When I hung drywall I placed the screws about every 4 to 5 inches. You may want to visit www.diy.com or even your local Home Depot or Lowes to ask for an expert opinion. Have fun!

According to the Building codes, and USG, the screw pattern is this. They should be no more than 8" apart through the field, and 6" apart at the edges. Again these are code requirements here, and manufactures specs nationally.

Depends on where the dry is being hung.
Walls get one on each end and 4 in the field and ceilings get one on each end and 5 in the field.
This is per screw run in each stud
