Weight and height proportion has alot to do with density. Fat is not as dense (heavy) as muscle. So I really think weight is kind of overrated for determing if someone is healthy, which is really the question right? Hip to waist ratio is a better measurement of overall health and risk for diabetes. You can look at BMI (body mass index) charts for a guideline, however just remember that if you do any weight training or you are more muscular than fat, you CAN'T use the BMI charts that are typically available. These charts were based on the average, fat, lazy american and if you actually do lift weights you get a skewed BMI due to having more muscle. So think more about your waist size, and general amount of body fat, than an actual weight, its not that important. Think about this, if you have a large bowel movement you could sometimes lose 2-3 pounds.

Go to this website to check out the healthy weight range for you height. Just enter your height and weight and it will tell you if you are normal, too thin or over weight. I am guessing you are in the normal range. And not to worry.
