what is the best spot and oder remover for carpets with pets?

Mix water and vinegar in a spray bottle and just walk and spray the carpet.If you can do it on a day that you will be out of the house and put a fan on to dry it, you will be surprised at the odor that will disappear.It took the smell out of the trunk of my car when shrimp juice leaked out of a icechest.WOW did it smell.I sprayed it and ley it dry then sprayed it again---it was gone.....Give it a try.

I have used and like both Natures Miracle and OUT!; they both contain organic solvents which will help to remove the odor. That carpet fresh for pets is nice too, but you should use one of the above first (they are unscented and will remove the odor), then vacuum with carpet fresh (it has a nice scent).

Natures Miracle works the best for me. It's the enzymes that destroy the urine and the scent. But it does take time, and needs to be applied more than once. I use it until I can't smell the urine any more, then one more time just in case my dog still can. Read the label. Available at most pet stores.
