Today I am supposed to be meeting a couple of freinds at a local coffee shop (Gloria Jean's Coffee), and I was wondering what low calorie coffee drinks are usually offered at coffee shops. Thanks!

Stay away from mocha... I love it but if you want low cal, that is not the way to go... Plain coffee is fine... Also remember you can tell what a pain in the azz someone is by the length of their coffee order. An extra-hot caramel machiado with a shot of espresso in a rasberry cup with whipped cream and three splendas and a splash of cream and two stirrers means you are a giant pain in the azz...

You could get black coffee or tea. Depending upon where you live, an iced coffee might be yummy today (I like it with equal). These would be pretty much calorie-free. However, if you don't mind having some calories, I would recommend a Skinny Cafe au Lait (coffee with steamed skim milk). I will sometimes add some Equal to that as well if I'm in the mood for something sweet. Also, many coffee shops can substitute soy milk for cow's milk. It is usually not TOTALLY fat free, but it's low fat (and good fat) and nutritious. I hope this helps!

Plain Ol coffee. If you like it sweet and light try skim milk and splenda.

try a sugar-free syrup flavored latte (cookie dough is really good) with skim milk... only about 100 calories and delicious! be sure to say no whip cream.
