Yep, the month it open in spring 1992.

If you are traveling with a family and plan to be at the park for several days, then yes. If it's just you and a friend, then maybe not. Disneyland Paris is a considerable distance from the City. There are RER trains from central Paris to the park, so you may enjoy staying in town and going to the park for the day.

The disney lodges are all good, yet expensive. We stayed on the vacation inn next to Disney. It grow to be approx one hundred euros for a room for an evening, that slept 4 people. there's a loose vacation bus to Disneyland Paris then. There are some lodges close to it too, the MyTravel Explorers inn and a Kyriad inn and a DreamCastle inn. Do a search for on Expedia, or do a search for for vacation inn Marne Le Vallee

I stayed in the log cabin bit. I was 'working' at the time- cushty I know, so I have no idea of quite how much more you have to pay, it was nice and clean and had all the facilities you would expect in a mobile home type accomadation, you got free soap with mickey mouse on the box, but we still drove to the actual park,. so I see that it makes no difference where you stay.

yes & no

yes - you are at the heart of things, so you see all the fireworks etc. & don't have to "commute" in, so very convenient

no - it IS expensive and there are cheaper alternatives that may also be fun, such as the nearby camps/lodges

it depends how much you are "into" the whole Disney experience - e.g. would you like to pay extra to see someone dressed up as Mickey ...
or save your money for another type of holiday?
