Scar covering cosmetics. Go to the cosmetics counter at a big department store. You can find a foundation that can blend into your "hickey" and it will vanish. Reapply the foundation until the hickey goes away.

The 5 Steps - Here's what works for me:
1. Ice it as soon as you see it- the sooner you catch it, the better. Do it for 15 minutes.
2. Gently massage the mark with a fine tooth comb. Maybe this works, maybe it doesn't, but I do it just in case! Do it for about 2 minutes.
3. Apply toothpaste to the red areas. Once again, I'm not sure if this works, but I know that it gets rid of the red in pimples, so I do it just in case! Keep it on until it dries, then wipe it off gently with a wet cloth or tissue.
4. Get a heating pad. Keep the heat on the area for as long as you want. If you don't have a heating pad, try using Thermacare patches. Even the menstrual cramp ones work and they last for 8 hours! Feel free to sleep on the pad and remove it whenever you get hot.
5. Use make-up. If you caught your hickey soon enough, it should be a very light red/pink by now, so all you need is a little make-up to fix it. If it's still really noticeable, just wear a turtle neck or scarf. Sometimes you can even hide them by wearing your hair down, if it's long enough.

I hope this works as well for you as it does for me!

There's nothing you can do to get rid of it. It will start to fade within a few days and all you can is wait it out. In the meantime, put some colored foundation or powder on it to cover the redness. Wear your hair down if the hickey is in a location where your hair can cover it. Wear a turtleneck or similar shirt to hide your neck. Make yourself scarce around your family for the next few days so they don't have a chance to look at your neck. Now you've learned your lesson...only get hickeys in a place that you can easily hide.

I think the best way to get rid of a hickey is a WARM wash cloth and gently rub the affected area. But a hickey is basically a big bruise you may just have to wait it out.

This used to work for me all the time.. take a lip stick cap and apply onto the hickey and push down and turn. It will sting a little and might take a little time but it works! I learned this from a friend and it never failed! Good luck!

Just use a vacuum cleaner to give yourself hickeys over every inch of your body. Then the original hickey won't be so noticeable.

Long story shot problem solved.

No, no and no. Once it's there, all you can do is foundation make-up, which doesn't really cover good. Every adult knows what one is and how you get them. It will take about 3-4 days to go away, depending on how big it is or how dark. the bigger and darker, the longer it'll take. Good luck, hope you don't get into trouble.

You could try putting hot water on it to stop the hurting.
But all of the hickeys I've had go away by them selves.

Rub and ice cube on it until it is numb, take a towel and dry the area and then rub toothpaste on it and let it on for 5-10 minutes. Wash it off and you will notice it isn't as noticeable as before.

Next time, get 'em where your clothes cover them up.

It's a bruise, so maybe a little ice might help with the redness. Then, just some good makeup. I like MAC's Studiofix.
