I did Atkins, but it was too hard on my body because it was not balanced, I did it for a month and I lost 12 pounds as soon as I got off it and just ate salad I gained back6 pounds, I have tried all the diets out there, finally I found a natural way and it truly worked for me , it was a web site my mother told me about www.beeroyalproducts.com I bought 2 products the Bee Royal Jelly and I took that twice a day once when I got up and once before bed, then the Bee Pollen I could eat ANYTIME I was hungry it is a protein and high in fiber, amino acids, B complex vitamins and minerals, not to mention I researched it contains a natural appetite suppreesant so your healthy , you get a ton of energy and your pounds melt off. Read the articles and I wish you a ton of luck with it...

Yes is does work. My mom lost 15 pounds over a span of about 2 months, or 3. The problem is that you cannot eat like that your whole life, so she began to gain weight when she went off it and had to exercise like crazy.
I would try weight watchers, as it is much more practical and it is simply cutting down portion size in everything you eat, from a salad to a hot fudge sunday. My mom lost way more weight on weight watchers, (and kept it off easily!) than on the atkins diet. You learn the way to eat in the real world instead of just cutting out major food groups that your body needs to function.

The Atkins diet really works but is pretty harsh to stay on. A better diet, with a plan that is easy to stay on for life, which is what you have to do, really, is South Beach. Make those adjustments, cut the rice, potato, bread, cereal, opt for the lower glycemic vegetables and you will lose. I've lost 30 pounds.

If you do the Adkins, the first thing you will notice is headaches, as you eliminate the carbs from you diet you will begin a sugar withdrawal, they lasted about a week for me. It is true though that you will not be hungry, and you will lose weight.
I lost 35pounds with it, but eliminating carbs is not practical at all for me, short term OK, long term, no way. the end result was weight gain, about 50 pounds to be exact. It was also incredibly
hard to lose weight again, it seemed like I had really messed up my system, anything I tried to lose weight did not work.
I have come to believe what I hated to hear for so many years and that is, the only way to lose weight is to cut calories and increase activity. That works, and its healthy.
Good luck to you

Yes it does work, and you can lose up to 10 lbs a week on it. However, it's a REALLY bad idea!!! When you finish with the diet you WILL be incredibly sick. You will have really bad digestive problems, your regular feminine hormone cycle will be totally screwed up, and if you're like me then you will experience lots of abdominal pain. It's NOT worth it.

Yes it really works, get some KETO strips to verify your progress. After first two weeks you can loose 1/2 lb per day. Check with your DOCTOR and make sure it's OK before you start.
