My husband and I went on a cruise for our honeymoon. Always lots to do on board and all food is included. We sailed from Majorca and visited Rome, Pisa, Barcelona, Tunisia, Monaco and Monte Carlo. We booked through Airtours. We then had the 2nd week in a hotel in Majorca. Do you mean theme parks instead of thermparks? You could try the one in Spain (port aventura) and it would be hot there. Grease is stuff you slip on (or the musical with John Travolta). The country is called Greece. I am not aware of any theme parks in Greece. Turkey has a new purpose built resort called Lykia world. Here is a review of it - it looks fantastic! http://www.bbc.co.uk/holiday/destinations/turkey_resort_best/

To answer everyone elses question: HURRICANE SEASON! That is why it isn't safe to go there at that time! Does anyone watch the news or remember past events!?!
Anyway, there is a Dollywood in Gatlinburg, TN, or just search theme parks and choose somewhere with a warm climate during that time of year!
Good luck and take no offensse to the people who do not understand the weather situation!

If you are talking within the U.S., go to VA Beach oceanfront. There is an awesome water park (Wild Water RApids) and an amusement park (Busch Gardens, voted world's most beautiful many times) 45 minutes away in Williamsburg. In fact, you could even stay in Williamsburg. I just said Va Beach bc of the strip and well, the beach.

Why is it not safe to go there in August? If you are on about tornados etc it's very rare they hit Florida especially the place you would be staying for the theme parks

We got married in August and we hit our local fairs (which are cheaper and sometimes more fun than theme parks) and then headed up to my friend's cabin where we took several day trips from.

I agree with daribird - Las Vegas would be really great fun, with tons of entertainment, and if you fly into LA you could also visit Disneyland!
