I am not a Muslim, and I don't know how old the earth is, but I am sure that it is a lot closer to 6000 years than several billion. Dinosaurs obviously existed. You can find their fossils in many museums. I think this figure of 65 million years is a lot of nonsense.

Nothing lasts for a million years. Things break down chemically long before that. There is nothing that we could manufacture today that would last for a million years. Even the most stable compounds break down.

The idea that a fossilized bone is 65 or 100 million years old is laughable. If an animal lived that long ago, there would be no trace of it. The chemical elements that composed the body would have gone through a myriad of compounds and forms.

Some fundamentalists teach that the earth is only 6,000 years old. Some evangelicals teach that the earth is only 6,000 years old.

The Bible does NOT teach that the earth is only 6,000 years old. Genesis 1:1: In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. This verse says nothing about the earth's age - it simply says that in the beginning, God created it along with all other celestial bodies. Beginning with verse 2, the account describes God's preparation for the earth as a home for the animal kingdom and for humankind.

Scientists say the earth is 4.5 billion years old or so. There is nothing in the Genesis account that contradicts this. On the contrary, the account allows for the earth to be this old or even older.

The chronology of 6000 years is derived from the generations listed in the Bible. The Bible itself never gives the age of the earth.Dinosaurs are described in the book of Job or at least one, Behemoth. The earth is as old as it is.Science has no way to prove conclusively the age of the earth. A best guess on the basis that available data is correct is all that can be given.

The real answer is nobody knows for sure and each will believe as they choose.

In fact, I think the great dinosaurs (such as the t-rex) were here perhaps millions of years before man came on the scene. The Bible supplies no proof of this, but there are ways of understanding the creation narrative that permit this view. Here's one of them:

The original creation is described in Gen. 1:1. The six days described in subsequent verses may have taken place millions or even billions of years after the original creation. In other words, God made the universe billions of years ago. He put all kinds of creatures, including dinosaurs, on this planet. The earth, at that time and for millennia to follow, was "without form and void"---i.e., not fit to serve as a habitat for mankind. So, at some point, perhaps millions of years after a comet hit the earth, destroying the dinosaurs and filling the atmosphere with debris and causing unparalleled catastrophic events such as massive tsunamis and earthquakes and flooding of huge land masses, God began clearing away the debris from the atmosphere allowing sunlight to pass through---"Let there be light." He caused further atmospheric changes---"Thus God made the firmament." He caused the submerged land to rise up out of the waters, thus forming the oceans and the great land masses---"Let the waters...be gathered together into one place, and let the dry land appear." And on it goes. On the sixth day, He made man in His image and after His likeness and gave him dominion over all the earth and its many creatures.

There are other ways of understanding the Genesis creation narrative so as to permit a long period between the time of the dinosaurs and the arrival of man. The above is the view generally preferred in the CGI.

Leave the Bible out of it and solely based on scientific evidence there is more to support the Earth being 6-10 thousand years old than there is to support it being millions of years old. At the rate the Earth is cooling if it was a million years old it would be a big round ice cube, even if it started out at 200 degree's on the surface. Mammoth's frozen intact, with edible meat and food from a warm climate show a instant freeze not a slow freeze as they try to state in old earth. Dinosaur bones found with intact skin and cells inside the bones still living and the bone it self not fossilized. More and more scientists are falling off the old earth evolution as it is scientifically supported by any evidence. Not transitional fossils, Fossils show fully developed animals with no evolutionary start. I can go on and on. EVEN if you want to say there is no God (your choice) there is alot more evidence to support a young earth.

That's right.
The Earth is also at the center of the Universe, and surrounded by Ether. Psychiatry is a conspiracy to attempt to deny demonic possession. Viruses are an invention of doctors to try to explain disease, which, as we all know, are a punishment for sin.

Its hard to argue with fools who don't value evidence.

If people want to maintain faith on the basis that everyone else believes so it must be right, they have the right to do so but it doesn't make it a correct assumption. There is too much concrete evidence to the contrary. The universe is billions of years old and there is scientific evidence to prove it. There is no scientific evidence for superstition.

I am a christian but I feel I must share my belief. I believe that the dinosaurs are the beings that were killed in the flood in genesis 6. These beings were the offspring of disobeying angels and women. These are the bodies of the demons. Do you agree. Love God and continue to trust him by faith, and don't believe in faith through the senses, satan can distort them.
