I THINK IT IS OK

A puppy should not be bathed that often as their skin is easily irritated and dry out. You could use baby shampoo but it would be best to use a puppy shampoo as it is designed specifically for them. I would not bathe the puppy more than once a month as they do not really need baths unless you are trying to control parasites and such. If you are trying to control odor thay make a wonderful product called K9 cologne and sprays that work really well between baths and you can get it at groomers of even off of eBay.

No, if you bath your puppy you may wash the natural oil from its skin & using any human products will harm your puppies skin. suggest that you use a damp cloth & warm water. when your puppy is at least 6 mth old then bath as you would a baby only if needed with care love & attention.grooming is the best way of keeping clean. Only use dog puppie shampoo & a very small amount.

You can bath your puppy, but it is best to use a puppy shampoo (0btainable from any pet shop or supermarket) because puppy skins are extra sensitive. If really dirty/smelly, I would recommend bathing twice at first then yearly as more often would strip the coat of the dog's natural oils.

NEVER use baby shampoo. If the pups are 12 weeks plus, use DILUTED puppy shampoo and be sure to have a warm room, warm towels and prevent hypothermia. Baby shampoo is too harsh for pets, it's pH is too strong for our fur-friends and can cause skin irritation.

If the puppy is less than 12 weeks, a water bath only. If the puppy is still with it's Momma, than let Momma clean the puppy!

you should bathe a puppie once amonth and you should not use baby shampoo. Giving a up a bath too often reduces the oils on the skin that is necessary for healthy hair growth.
There are special Shampoos for your dog . Use them instead of your baby's.

If you bathe a dog more than every 2 weeks you risk giving them dry skin. Basically, when they start to really smell, it is time. You CAN use baby shampoo, but it is highly recommended that you use a shampoo specifically for dogs. Dogs have a much different pH level in their skin, and if you use human shampoo, it can damage and dry out their skin easily.

yes its ok to bath a puppy but when they are 4 weeks old i put mine in the bath and only ever use baby shampoo that way it wont hurt there eyes and when you do make sure the water is not to cold and just nice and warm bear in mind they will be frightened so talk to them i do and my pups are fine have a towel ready to wrap them in and then dry them with a cool hair dryer dont let them get cold and you should only bath them when they need it as if you bath them to often it will dry all the oils in there skin good luck its good to get them use to haveing a bath so as they get older they get use to it if you start when they are young

I can't think of a problem using baby shampoo, but you shouldn't bath your puppy unless it is very dirty. Dogs have oils in their coats that they need to keep their skin in good condition. If it's just a bit muddy then wait until the mud is dry and brush it off.

Baby shampoo isnt a good soap to use for puppies you really need to get a puppy shampoo because they need extra oils in ther skin. Some shampoos could clog there pours in ther skin
