I wondered this one day as I was donating. I was on a diet at the time and it occurred to me that there is some net loss of calories in my donation. I was trying to figure out if I could eat one of their cookies without guilt. They didn't know.

Don't worry about it - eating one cookie isn't going to make that much of a difference. You will burn off the calories of that cookie just getting home from the clinic.

there are 372 calories in a pint of blood; therefore, you could eat some cookies.
