Although referred to as "species", the "Boone and Crockett" and "Pope and Young" records for these North American big game animals in some cases distinguish between geographical or biological sub-species differences rather than strictly by species. The Mule Deer and Blacktail Deer are an example of subspecies being treated separately, as are the Moose, Elk, and Caribou categories.
The North American big game animals for which records are (were) kept include: Black Bear, Grizzly Bear, Alaskan Brown Bear, Polar Bear, Jaguar, Cougar, Atlantic Walrus, Pacific Walrus, American Elk, Roosevelt Elk, Mule Deer, Columbia Blacktail Deer, Sitka Blacktail Deer, Whitetail Deer, Coues' Whitetail Deer, Canada Moose, Alaska-Yukon Moose, Shiras Moose, Mountain Caribou, Woodland Caribou, Barren Ground Caribou, Central Canada Barren Ground Caribou, Quebec-Labrador Caribou, Pronghorn, Bison, Rocky Mountain Goat, Muskox, Bighorn Sheep, Desert Sheep, Dall's Sheep, and Stone's Sheep.
The Jaguar, and Walrus are now completely protected leaving the current list at 28.

It's called the Super Slam and consists of big game animals of North America. Chuck Adams was the first man to do it with a bow. It includes all the sub-species of deer (whitetail, blacktail, muledeer to list a few), sheep, moose, bears, elk etc. His biography is called "Life At Full Draw". That may have the list of all the animals. I hope this helps.

In some rain wooded area habitats, there are a tremendous type of species. i imagine many animals type separate species continuously. Species go extinct obviously. Any warming or any replace in temperature or climate will replace the ambience and really truly good species would go extinct. different species will thrive. that is the technique of organic decision. Are human beings increasing the speed? fantastically a lot actually. Is the precedence being exaggerated? very a lot so. it truly is really ripe with hypothesis.

There are 2 major types of deer, then you got elk, diffrent types of bear, many types of goats (antelope, mountain, rams), there are diffrent type of lions ( puma, mountain, lynxs, many game birds, and moose, and turkey, and all the different varmit. So within all those I think there is 28 species.

I think that when he said that he was talking about 26 species of deer out of 28. The reason why I think that it is deer is there are many kinds of deer.
