cos the bloomin clothes designers are so worried about profits that they dont make them in larger sizes very often and it's hard as hell to get clothes that fit if you dont fit the " norm"
or perhaps it's a con and all designers have shares in Wendeys and M&M's
oh I dont know, perhaps they watch to much Jerry Springer and think thats they way to go!

There are several answers to this:
1) Most clothes don't fit them. We buy all kinds of pet clothes for our small dogs, but do you ever see an elephant wearing a funny t-shirt, or slip on shoes?
2) They get really hot. They do have to move around a lot more weight, and the heart works very hard to keep the circulation up. Add to this the extra layers of insulation, and the answer is a sweaty mess my friend.
3) They may think its funny to wear clothes and see you reaction, much like a big breasted chick would wear tight tops to show off her wears and get attention, maybe the same want for attention exists in a person who is overwieght, but has nothing really to offer otherwise besides the questionable fit of her spandex.
4) They have no shame and feel that these clothes still fit, so why throw them out. They are worn with blatant disregard for your visual comfort.
5) Skin needs air to dry (in regards to belly shirts)

I date a guy that is obese. I love him to death. He always dress nice for work and when we are out and about. Clothes for him are hard to find and fit but he does have them and they look real good on him. At home though he wears his jogging pants and a tshirt. (so do I and I am not fat) He does take his shirt off when we are home cause he gets hot pretty easily.

Why are you worried about what us fat people wear?
Are you planning to get fat someday and you're looking for fashion advice before you start bulking up?
But, to answer your question - we wear hardly any clothes in the same situations that thin people do - when it's uncomfortably hot, we strip down. It's just that simple.

I know what you mean. One of my best friends is a good fifteen pounds overweight, but she always wears tight, cropped shirts, that leave her spare tire hanging out for the world to see. She would be very fashionable if she just stopped eating once in a while.

I heard an answer to a question similiar to this a while back, and it was that since there are hardly no cloths they can wear that flatter them, or make them look fashionable, they just settle what what (or anything) that will keep them from getting in trouble with public lewdness!

My opinion is, just because a clothing company makes a mini skirt is your size does not mean you should wear it.
