You need to harmonize your verb tenses and add a pronoun in the second sentence (I'm not sure why the pronoun needs to be there, but it just doesn't sound right)

And when the situation gradually became normal, the women's position was back to that of domestic and marginal roles.

I would also change became to a more active verb, like returned to, but that's not a mistake - it's a question of style. So you get:

And when the situation gradually returned to normal, the women's position was back to that of domestic and marginal roles.

No. You are mixing present and past tenses in the same sentence. You are also mixing singular and plural. The sentence should read: "And when the situation gradually becomes normal the woman's position is back to a domestic and a marginal role." The comma is not necessary.

No.

And when the situation gradually became normal, the women's position was back to domestic and marginal roles.

Or

And when the situation gradually becomes normal, the women's postion will be back to domestic and marginal roles.

See, it depends on if its speaking of the future or past or present. All must match.

I'd say "... the women's positions will return to..." (domestic and marginal roles.)

Your sentence should read status + role.

Yes, except for the fact that you're beginning it with "and."

Instead of using "was" I would use "reverts".
