A few years ago I recall hearing that teachers were considered the best candidates for a mate (relationship) for a female. However, they never said how this was determined. At the time I heard this I was a teacher - so I liked the sound of that. I'm now a medical student, abeit an older one, and I can tell you that being a student physician carries no clout for me. I think that while there is sort of a urban myth that women want doctors as husbands, they certainly don't want a med-student for a boyfriend.

This very good friend of mine, from many, many years ago, was once married. Her husband was an economist, somenthing like that. Bored relationship, they got divorced.
Then she met a Doctor, and she became like "crazy for her doctor".. ooohhh he is a Doctor. Changed of life, changed of atmosphere, changed of friends... all etiquete.
Guess what?, the Doctor Yells her out, Beats her ... insult her, everytime he wants.
It is not about the profession, it is about the person, the education, the principles, and the way we are.
I want a man who treats me like a princess, who loves me (and if he does) i'm pretty sure he won't beat me, he won't hurt me.
If he is the driver a school bus, welcome then!, I will love him in the same way.
PS: As a Doctor, this man is EXCELLENT, great Doctor.
As a husband, he is a jerk.

Women don't care what profession you are in as long as you are working and they don't have to look after you. Congratulations on being a medical student as it will pay off in the end.

Ahh thats not exactly true. not every woman wants a doctor. most women are not that shallow. but, you are a student right... trust me if you want a woman to like you for your money you'll be getting used in life. Most women want SECURITY.

Lots of girls want guys for money or the fact that they had enough to put their all into learning something difficult. At any rate any girl worth having would want you for who you are.

No, there isn't a ranking but personally I prefer successful, intelligent, hardworking men whatever their profession.
