There seems to be at least one. Asia Hotel Bangkok
http://www.asiarooms.com/thailand/bangkok/asia.html
The reviews are good and the price is reasonable at about 1806 to 2660 per night for almost any room in the hotel. Single or double/twin occupancy.
Good luck

I would recommend Reno Hotel phone number in Bangkok 02-215-0026. It is located on a small alley or soi about 100 meters from the National Stadium BTS (skytrain) station across the main road from Tokyu Department store. I have stayed there many times, the rooms are clean and the staff is courteous and speak English well. The hotel is small but does have a swimming pool and restaurant. The rooms are from 750-1500 Baht, For 1500 you get air, refrigerator and TV, (cable with a few English speaking channels). and breakfast is included. 750 air but no TV or refer, 1000 TV and air but no refer. All include breakfast. I have stayed there many times and never had a complaint. It is convenient too, you can go on the BTS platform and traverse to Siam Square, Siam/Discovery, Tokyu/BMK and Paragon. You can call them direct to make reservations at the number above. Good luck.

Try the Ibis Siam square. I stayed there in October and its good. Its brand new so its very clean. Check the accorhotels.com website. The price varies between about 750 baht to about a 1000 baht. The buffet breakfast isn't great though so don't pay the extra.
Its about 15 minutes walk to Siam square.

Don't book through asia rooms, they are notorious for ripping people off. See.. www.travelforum.org and look under Thailand Name and Shame.
It's not near Siam Square but the Ambassador Bangkok is good and cheap, and super convenient to the Skytain.

With your budget, you might as well stay in Pathumwan Princess Hotel, right next door to Mahboon Khrong Centre, just opposite Siam Square and Siam Paragon too. Right where you want to be. Check www.pprincess.com for your booking.

How about Asia hotel? It is about 15 mins (about there) walk to Siam Square. Or First hotel? (but i have to warn you, pls get the tower wing rooms). Or Samran Place Hotel? (Next to Asia Hotel) But why don't u want to stay in Sukhumvit? They have more hotels there and it is also an exciting area.
