Well, technecly, you cannot force your hair to grow. If you just wait, I can guarrantee that you cannot braid it in a month. Maybe if you take good care of it and wash it reguarly, not vevry day though, be caredull when brushing and so on & so fourth, it might help. I am not sure if there are any natural 'recipies', there are some that will get your hair to look longer. Although you cannot MAKE your hair grow, you can get hair extensions and braid those. I know I know - it is not 'natural'. But hey, do u want long hair or not? And if you do not like them or want the extinsions of after you have braided your hair, of course, you can cut it. But you might even end up liking it. Remember - Don't know untill you try it! I would go with hair extensions or a wig (i wouldn't really reccommend the wig but whatever makes u happy is fine.) The wash reguarly and comb easily, use good shampoo and all is the most natural I can think of.

Hair is made of protein. So protein foods will help. Also, gelatin is especially good for hair and nails.

I read that rubbing castor oil and coconut oil on the scalp helps it to grow faster -- I don't know if it works.

A GOOD MULTIVITAMIN HELPS FROM THE INSIDE OUT. ALSO MAKE SURE YOUR SHAMPOO HAS SOME SORT OF SUN BLOCK IN IT TO PROTECT FROM SUN DAMAGE!
