What are the requirements for an Air Force Fighter Piliot?

As in, physical reqs. and if you need to have a certain amount of flight time on a simulator.

Those were some interesting answers but no-

Going to the Air Force Academy is not a requirement as proven by my UPT class which is 1/2 ROTC 1/2 Academy grads and a few OTS grads tossed in the mix.

Vision must be correctable to 20/20 and you must pass depth perception and color vision qualifications.

You must also pass a barrage of physical tests to ensure you're in good physical health, free from diseases etc. (needless to say you must have all of your limbs to include fingers and toes)

Physical requirements include the air force fitness test (can be looked up on google, situps pushups and mile and a half run).

For fighter and bomber pilots the FACT test must also be passed, its a test involving lifting weights, pushups, situps and leg presses. Relatively easy to pass if you lift on occasion (weight required is proportional to your body weight).

David42 is right, but there are more requirements. Dedication, determination, heart, courage, no drugs, a quick mind and quicker reflexes to name a few. No record of trouble with the law, no drunks, clean background all the way. Traffic violations do not count. Self discipline is essential.

Read the information at the second link for undergraduate pilot training. It is easier to be admitted to pilot training if you have your bachelor's degree and meet all the physical requirements.
