There have been studies done on alternative and complementary medicines, including homeopathy types and ayurveda. They are pretty much inconclusive as far as being effective against cancer, but you can read them at Entrez PubMed:
http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/entrez/query.fcgi?db=PubMed
The problem is that there are over 200 different types of cancer, some tumors are aggressive and can spred and double within 28 days. With an aggressive cancer a patient needs something that will act quickly and effectively to stop the cancer in its tracks. Stopping and ridding the body of the tumors is the bottom line . . traditional chemotherapy can demonstrate with documented evidence based on numerous studies and patients that it is effective . . alternative and complementary may or may not be of benefit because they do not document evidence. Before embarking on any type of treatment check with the National Library of Medicine and read the studies before making a decision.

yes it does and it is not slow as many people say it just depends on the kind of disease on the course of duration of the disesae suppose u r suffering from some chronic disease which has no treatment in allopathy besides just suppressing it then it will take some time and most of the time people come for homoeopahthic treatment after taking all sorts of treatment which have failed so to say in the last stage of disease where the case is incurable then it definitely becomes difficult to heal the patient but that is not the failure of homoeopathy it is the fault of patient party and it is the best mode of treatment as it treats the patient as a whole not just a part a tissue or organ but the concept of totality the person as a whole is sick and not just he is sick because his lungs or his liver or his stomach is sick is considered and if homoeopathy is started right from the beginning of a childs birth that would b very best preventing many complications and hazardous diseases in future as many have said u shud have faith in it dats very important for a person to be cured as the medicines used in homoeopathy are dynamic in nature

It works in most of the cases. But not for all the diseases. Homeopathy is symptom based. If you fail to report any one symptom to the doctor, the diagnosis may not be complete. Then it becomes trial and error. If the diagnosis is correct, if right medicine in right potency is given, it is the fasted cure.

i think it does but not all are benefited to it. as it happens that allopathy suits someone and not to all in the same way its true for homeopathy. its my experience that when i was of 5-6 yrs. i was suffering with severe common cold. then i took homeopathy which is still helping me as since then i didn't suffered with that disease. dr.says that its bcoz this medicine provides an energy which helps to fight against not only one disease but many more from the same medicine.

Think about it:
If I took 10mg of methadone, and dissolved it in a swimmng pool volume of water, then took 10mls of that, and further dissolved it in another swimming pool volume of water, do you think that ingesting some of that "ultra-diluted" methadone would bring any kind of relief to a heroin addict?
Homeopathy is a complete hoax, though sadly it is often "sold" by well-meaning believers in it. It just makes no sense.

yes, first one should have faith. I am told it takes care to remove the problem from its root. May be for those going for homeopathy medicines early for their problem, they may find quick recovery, but those who approach at advanced stage of recovery its curing effect may be slow. but faith in it will work wonders, besides good thing is that it has no side effects.
