Bless your heart. You can only make yourself happy honey, and that comes from within. I am sure it is hard for you to be happy when the two people you love the most are unhappy. You cannot make your parents or anyone else happy. You can pray for them and you can tell them that you want them to be happy. I'm sorry sweetie , I wish you could just snap your fingers and everyone would be happy and smiling but it just doesn't work that way. Try to be happy yourself and be a good daughter and they surly will be happy about that, but may in their unhappiness fail to say so.I'll be thinking of and remembering you. I'm not sure it's your job to make them happy but if you want them to be proud I suggest the following: Be always honest, decide on your own morals and standards and don't compromise, be decent, respectful, polite, reliable and hardworking. Let them know with small gestures how much you love and appreciate them. Really talk to them about their lives, you might discover things about them you'd never have expected. Talk to them about your life and aspirations and ask their advice. Be the best person you can, it will prove they did a good job raising you. Be happy and content - it's contagious.

Be yourself.
Be honest.
Always hold your head up high.
Remember that parent's see us as a reflection of themselves. When we mess up they tend to feel like they have failed. If you always try your best and they know that then you should be o.k. and so should they. Don't ever forget to tell your parent's you love them and appreciate them.
