Avoid additional trauma to the fissures. Take in food (fibers, fluids, etc) or medications (fiber suppliments, stool softeners) that will make your stools softer and easier to come out. There are some rectal suppositories in the market that will help relieve the swelling and the pain. But anal fissures will take some time to heal.
