there are at least a dozen drugs that I could rattle off in 3 minutes. Prices vary wildly depending on what you get. They are all prescriptions (obviously) so you will need to be seen by a physician.

There are no oral medications that are over the counter at the pharmacy. As far as I know there are no oral medicaitons that are preventative in nature either. However, with a prescription you can take minocin but only prescribed for bad acne. There is another medication out there think the name is acqutaine or something close to that.......that has side effects that are terrible and you have to sign a waiver saying that the drug company is not responsible for the adverse effects....oh my needless to say that is not one you want to take either.
Good luck!

Tetracyline is sometimes written as prescrition, its usually doesnt help with existing, but helps prevent further. It can cost 20-50$, but you need a rx., which means a doctors fee for the visit. Accutane is sometimes written, only by Dermatologists, but very powerful with lots of side effects, especially if you can get preg,,they almost never want to prescribe that if you can.
