Firstly, if you believe in him, then I would say he is the only one who will not and cannot let you down. I do not believe in fate, we choose which road to go along, it's other people who often put obstacles in the way. Many a time it is our own efforts, that's why we have the five senses and a body! Accidents are usually man made, the natural elements we cannot help, but we can take a course of action to avoid certain situations if informed. I can be sure that God is always there because he said so, and that is good enough for me.

God has given me a life that I could have never known even existed. God has given me a second chance to experience what life is all about, according to my concept of what life really is. This I'm sure is different from other people's concept but the God of my understanding has been very, very, very good me. With God ALL things are possible. If it weren't for God I would not be here typing this message today. I think deep down inside everyone has a concept of God. Most don't use it. :O(

I have beaten the odd of so many things.
The reason I am alive because of what G-d has done.
Doctors have given up on my dad and people pray and he was healed without that I won't be born.
I have been given a job that has given me a place to live from G-d.
I have learn so much about how this world has work just by opening my mind to G-d. I was given a chance to get a degree in Cell Biology. The wonders of his creation makes me more in awe of what He can do.
Been able to speak to others about my faith with confidence because of G-d.
The people who have come into my life at the right time to help is beyond belief.
I know you are not asking a serious question.
There is so much that has happen since 2000 years ago.
You can either see or not. It is up to you.

God intervened in a very powerful and dramatic way to stop my husband from taking his life. God answered my immediate prayer for help and then went one better - He opened my husband's eyes, unstopped his ears and softened his heart, and my husband now believes in God (just as God believes in him).
The only effort I made was to pray. I was working in London at the time and unable to get home, but I knew something was dreadfully wrong so I asked for the Lord to protect and take care of my husband while I was away. 'Fate' unchecked would have resulted in a tragedy. God answered that prayer, stayed my husband's hand and sent him practical, professional help. Praise God for answered prayer!

I have been lucky and got everything that I have asked for. I am afraid I need to tell you that I do not follow the bible or dance around with a guitar wearing a smock. Neither do I believe he is some guy that judges gay people. That stuff is all a load of bollocks designed to control people. Gay people aren't going to hell just for being gay. I think if you're a good person and you are truly sorry when you've messed up; you'll be alright!

If you know him, you know he is within you. If you listen, you will make the right, sometimes hard, decision. He's always there for you. Look around and you will see. If you are blind you can hear. He gave you five senses. Use them, learn to discern, be a good example. I did and my life has been peaceful ever since. I never feel lost or alone. Life is a wonderful gift. Enjoy and God bless.

Too many things to mention here. Well, He has given me trials in life to build my character. He has given me jobs after losing jobs. He has given me perfect health, my family, my faith. He has saved me from potential injuries. He has answered many prayers. Some of these answers to prayers were so sudden and could not be explained in any other way. My own efforts could not have played into this in any way. I can tell that you don't have much faith and that you are doubting the power of God. It's not wrong to ask questions. I suggest that you pray to God yourself and ask that He answer you questions for you. Allow him to lead you to the Bible too.
Isaiah 1:18 Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.

I can not be sure he has done a whole lot for me...
Churches and its members only look at me with disgust since my parents were divorced when I was 14, even though it had nothing to do with me obviously, and when I married a Mexican, they looked at me even worse. But the killer was when I had a baby before marriage that the church didn't help me anymore, but tell me how is that trying to bring someone to realize they sinned lovingly and with God in mind? it's not! God has done nothing for me lately accept looked at me with evil eyes
