I am going to india and have a history of getting stomach upsets easily. Wanted to try and prevent this as much as possible.

Have some yakult or live yoghurt drinks. This will help your lining. Make sure that the food is cooked thoroughly. If your stomach is particulary sensitive, avoid too spicy food.Alchol can also infmaeyour lining....

As mentioned try having yogurts before you go on your trip.When you eating foods make sure that hot foods are eating hot and cold as cold as possible.Make sure the food handler is using clean utensils and tongs.Eat from food vendors that have lots of customers.
Carry your pepto bismal, and drink lots of bottled water.

Say a quick prayer before you eat, lol.

don't go without diacalms. i've found the best thing to do is go to the local pharmacy wherever you may be they will come up with a good solution for that particular region.have a nice time.
