the last visit to the doctors they told us there is no cure and her condition is terminal and we don't have very long. She feels good now. I am having a hard time dealing with this because I depend on my wife for everything and if I did'nt have her I would be lost. Has anyone else been in this situation and what did you do?

I'm really sorry for your news, i have never been through this myself, but being a nurse have seen it many times, nothing anyone says is going to make you feel better, you will take your own time to grieve and adjust your life without her, again I'm sorry for your news, also if it would help there are grief counselors to help

Keep fighting! Yes, leukemia is terminal, but there are some treatments. My cousin has six kids and she has leukemia. They told her about eight years ago she had six months to live. She's still around. This is not to say that this happens for everyone. But, you could go to a second doctor for another opinion/treatment options.

As for depending on your wife for everything, start taking little steps to do more around the house. Start with her showing you how to wash dishes, do laundry, etc. You'll get the hand of everything. People are amazing in that we can adapt to any situation and many of us can rise to the occasion more than we ever thought we could.

Just live in the moment as much as possible. Make sure your wife is comfortable. You might keep a journal. I wish I had when I found out how ill my first husband was. I really don't remember alot of things that I now wish that I could from that period of time, and although I've never been a journal keeper (and still don't have one) I wish during that period that I did.

you need to research an clinical trails for that type of cancer. You will find them by searching clinical trails. Look for the goverment site. Also I would search for another oncologist and research bone marrow transplants. Never give up hope.
