It depends....check the back of your throat and tongue to see if you have any white spots. If you do, you may have strep. Go to the dr. and get an antibiotic so you don't infect your classmates. If it's just a sore throat my mom insists that gargling with a mixture of peroxide and warm water will kill the bacteria in your throat and you'll feel better right away. Just don't swallow it! I haven't tried it, but she insists it works!

lol i never skip school .. too much fun and the work is always waiting for you when you go back to school... sore throat, fever cough, cramps,sprains, nothing ever stopped me from going to school even though i can get medical certificates for free ;)

don't skip school. i love school. just try and have fun on how people & friends react to your sore throat. have hot water or add tumeric to hot milk{doesn't taste good} but you'll feel better!
