ok , seems very silly but you can qualify online which would give you the qualifications you need to be self employed, you would never see a real dog in that course but you would have the letters after your name if you were to need them ( but I'm thinking insurance would be wise i fyou did this..) Any dog grooming salon near by would most likely take helpers and train them, eventually, most kennel workers where they also groom dogs can train for free if they're interested. there are also day college only courses, which I think are around a couple of grand.. good luck any way, and enjoy.

see if you can find a dog grooming school in your area. ask if the instructor is I.P.G or N.A.C.C. certified (international professional groomers or national association of canine cosmotologists) or participates in grooming competitions. these are the people who are truley dedicated to what they do and are more than happy to teach. you want to learn the right ay from the start rather than fixing bad habbits later. good luck, its hard work but also alot of fun.

i don't believe you would possibly want to bypass to varsity to be a vet assistant - maximum places would prepare you on the pastime - and that's because assistants are like glorified secretaries. Vet assistants do not frequently artwork immediately with the animals and require no authentic recognize-how of vet drugs. They take care of the consumers, appointments, etc. they might clean up exam rooms and kennels/cages as well as prepare stuff for the vets or vet techs. As for grooming you would both might want to hit upon a commerce college or locate an actual groomer keen to mentor you. you received't locate this style of problem at a common "college". yet don't be fooled into questioning grooming is an straightforward or relaxing pastime - there are countless "cons" to this pastime. alongside with lifting heaving canines all on your own, expressing anal glands, and cleansing matted poop off of canines' behinds. that's countless artwork. i'd go searching and see if all and sundry would assist you to "shadow" them for an afternoon or 3 for both potential careers, see if both pastime is actual something you would opt for to do. you may on the instantaneous verify with THEM about their education.
