If you don't have a crate for him, get one now! This is a "I'm the dominant one" behavior characteristic that you need to address immediately. As soon as he bites, get hold of him and put him in the crate. When he calms down, let him out. There will probably be a lot of whining, barking, etc., but you have to ignore this, when the noise has stopped and the dog has calmed down, let him out. Every time your dog bites or exhibits other bad behavior, put him in the crate, telling him "bad dog". Praise when he's good too. This will take some time to correct so be patient. I would also consult your vet regarding this behavior in case it's something medical.

Good luck.

Dogs are pack animals. There is an order in a dog pack. You have to show your dog that you are the leader, or the alpha dog and that he is not to challenge you.

When he bites you, you say, "No", firmly while looking directly in his eyes and placing your hand on his head or shoulder. You don't need to repeat it or shout it as the dog is not deaf. Hold that position until the dog drops it's eyes away from you.

When you are sitting in a chair, never let a dog put it's paw on you as this is a dog's way of saying, "I am ahead of you in the pack." Remove their paw and say "No."

Always feed your dog after you eat - never before. The alpha dog, or lead dog, eats first and then the rest of the pack.

Don't allow your dog to walk you on the leash. That's another way the dog is showing dominance over you. You are the leader and the dog should walk beside you.

You are the lead or alpha dog. Your dog is challenging you for that position. Do not allow it or you will have big problems later on down the road.

I would take him to obedience classes and have a trainer get a grip on it before he gets older and bigger. I do not know if you have ever watched or read Cesar Milan's book. But he is amazing and everything he says is true, he can help almost any dog and his shows and book give great advice and guidance.

call your breeder,,, if you didn't buy from reputable breeder - you are reaping the repercussions,,, In any case,, this is a dominant issue,,, he must be neutered as soon as he is old enough,,,, you should enroll in puppy obedience classes as this will help you to establish that you are alpha and he is not.. you can do simple exercises at home... put puppy on his back , with your hand resting on his throat and the other in his groin area .. look him in the eye and when he looks away immediately let him up,,, do not let him up if he maintains direct eye contact with you.

I just had this idea- not the only solution, but as an added help for the problem, have you considered wrapping your hand in tin foil? That might not be fun to bite.

Simple. You need to show him who is the boss. If you keep allowing him to bite you hard, he thinks its fun and 'normal.' A strong and affirmative telling off is required. Afterall at 3 months, he is still a 'baby' . Think of him as a naughty child!
