Well I would suggest looking around in your community for institutions that teach the Arabic language. As I understand, there is a thriving Arab community in England, why not immerse yourself if you're looking for a more hands on experience. If all else fails, you have learn independently by purchasing a CD or from an online free course. Good luck and take care.

Try downloading ArAlpha (freeware) from

This is a program for English speakers to learn the Arabic alphabet. See how you get on, then Google 'Learning Arabic'
and you'll find more courses online and offline than you can shake a stick at. There is also a BBC schools programme that is on sometimes during the week which does basic Arabic.

you will have to come to USA .... apply for Middlebury College School of Languages. It's a summer program and they teach Arabic among others.

At a mosque.They this thing called 'madrasa' where they teach Arabic for free.You just have to say you are interested in learning Arabic.
