Buy her a few small things. Flowers (tesco- gorgeous, v cheap), choc etc.
A nice photo in a frame is also good (maybe one of the two of you when you were little- your dad could help you dig one out, all you need to do is get a frame)
But also give her vouchers for nice treats
* A foot massage (I have done this for my mum)
* Washing up for a week
* Make the beds for a week
* A night of babysitting (if you have younger brothers/sisters).
Good Luck

If you would have to use her credit card it wouldn't be much of a present since she will have to pay for it.

Why not do something from the heart - give her a day (or a week) off from the day to day chores that you may (or may not) take for granted. Breakfast in bed is good, but then clean the house, do the dishes and the laundry. She will think it's the best birthday present you could give her - trust me.

i think it would be nice if you made her something. like the card - it makes it special and she'll keep it and have fond memories. you could also go to a bead shop (theres load, and in london there are some great ones, or just a sewing shop like singers too) and buy some beads and you could make her a necklace or bracelet or earring etc. she'll like that as you have added you own personal touch.
if you wanted something more "grown up" to give her, but your tight for money, how about some papmering stuff from boots or debenhams or somewhere like that.
or both
good luck, hope you find something and that she has a good birthday.

My niece for Christmas went to a bead store and for a few bucks made a great necklace for me for Christmas - she did the same thing for her mom too.
The great thing about it is with all the fancy beads out now for pennies you can put together something that looks like it came off a rack - something that makes me proud to wear it.
Personally I dont like bfast in bed - gets messy - I usually have the mess to contend with after and I never get a good cup of coffee out of the deal - not that I would ever tell then that though cause their little hearts would be broken - try going for something - timeless.

I know this sounds weird but u could go to walmart and get her fav movie and have a movie night! Or you could buy her a cd and have kareoke! Also ride ur bike places if she needs arrends lke to the store or library! =]hope i helped=] Or you could start a scrapbook but that's expensive =[

I bet the best thing you could give her is something you made yourself.
The simplest thing would be to buy a cheap photoframe.
Then go to a craft store and buy fabric, paint, sequins, gems, charms, anything you like, and decorate it. Some places sell the little letter bead blocks, you could spell your names out.
Then put a photo of you two in it...Trust me any Mum would love that :o)

Well i think Mum's like presents that they can keep forever, little sentimental things that may not cost allot but mean allot to her because their children got it especially for them.
Normally when i don't have allot of cash i buy my Mum a little trinket that has "Greatest Mum" on it or something like that.
You can buy them from card shops and they cost very little but show you love your Mum.
Good luck xxx

How about you take some time to make her something. Like a card or etc. Or if you know how to cook. Make dinner and you two have dinner together.

It really depens.
Does she like to cook?
Does she like to read?
Does she like to knit&stuff like that?
Does she like to do any sports?
Ask yourself these questions. For example my mom loves to drink coffee. So I would get my mom a Starbucks/ Dunkin Donuts gift card and mabey a couple nice packs of coffee. Good Luck!

make her something that is special to you both. like a collage(pics of you and her) doing memorable things hols, school play, something she is proud of. or why not make her a CD of her favourite bands/artists, or even a girls/mums day out doing things she enjoys. hope you find this helpful, good luck.
