My friend I'll call her Holly went out with a guy in grade 7 for 5 months or so.They broke up and now they hate each other.Holly won't even talk about him.
The boy now goes to a private school but I see him nearly every day at soccer.We remained good friends.
Now in grade 9 he is asking me out.
What should I do?

You can talk about this to your friend, and ask her opinion.
Then, whatever her opinion might be, at the end it's up to your decision. It's your life, and it's your choice. No one can tell you what to do, basically.

No u dont do that if thats ur friend. So what it was 2 years ago, thats ur girl and yall are friends. Dont make the mistake of losing her for that. But if your really feeling this boy, then at least talk to ur friend. The whole problem with that is most likely she'll tell you its ok, when on the inside she may be holding back true feelings. Dont get hurt and dont hurt anyone else.

Ask your friend how she would feel if you started seeing this guy if she is strongly against it then you need to decide if your friendship is worth giving up for a guy you may not be seeing in six months.

BEST Thing to do is. get to know him first. and talk to your friend about it. ask her how the guy was to her and get to know him. then you can have both stories. And if you know you really like this guy and he likes you back. then go for it.
Some thing like this happen too me before. My Cousin like my ex girlfriend a lot. and he asked me about her. i hated him. i didnt want him too. but now they are prefect for each other. they been together for about 2 or 3 years. so as long as you both like each other it will all work out

go out with him, its been 2 years, just dont go like -- OH IM DATING so and so like my friend did and it relle hurt (thing is was that we broke up a week b4)
