This guy started talkin to me when he saw my pic and he seemed nice but I only saw him as a mate. He always rang me and stuff and I thought he was just being sweet even though he complimented me. He told me that he wanted to date me but I made it very clear I only saw him as a mate. But he kept thinkin I liked him even though I never did anything for him to think this, I just had a laugh with him etc like I do with any other guy mate and he asked me out another couple of times and again I told him I just saw him as a mate.
Recently he's got himself what he calls a 'kissing partner' and I'm happy for him but he keeps ringin me and just telling me all this random stuff about her for no reason..It not a conversation, its just him going on about himself and all the fun he's having which I'm glad about for his sake but what's the point in ringin me at 3 in the morning just to tell me he had such a great time with his kissing partner a few days ago??

Sure it starts out nice being sweet and complimentary and all. The problem is later on when he tries to ingratiate, or worm, himself into your life.
Maybe he's trying to make you jealous by saying all this incidental stuff that holds no merit to you whatsoever. How certain are you for sure that he even has this "partner"? Could it be he's making this up like a desperate ploy to get you to change your mind and fall head over heels in love with him? Maybe he is angry because you aren't as charmed by him as he would like you to be. So the point of calling at such an off hour would be to get you ticked off. Sort of like a childish revenge game. Either that or he's on something that is keeping him awake at this ungodly hour. You really need to throw the cold water on this lout and really get the message across to him. His attentions to you are beginning to sound a bit abnormal like he may have a couple of screws loose in the belfry. This behavior seems a might too strong and pushy to be doing much good for you. Hopefully he can take the message and leave you alone. If he can't then you may have a problem that will take drastic measures to solve. For now ice all communication with him and see what happens.

He thins you like him and he is trying to make you jelous!!!! Be gentle but firm!Don't say anything that will give him wrong idea! But equally don't be too harsh to break even your friendship with him. Friendly relationship yes. Love relationship NO! Tell him clearly!
