someone may have said or did something so despicable that you just cut them off and not say a word.

that is really rude to do it that way it leaves the other person wondering...what did i do and what happpened?? they wont be able to move on unless they have a reason we all need closure of some kind to be able to move on.

If it is THAT despicable what was done to you , words are not necessary for them to get the message that you have had enough . Turn on your heels and leave before a confrontation occurs . Better to just get away without a word never to see them again than get into a fight .
Now, if you just got tired of someone for some reason and they have not really done anything to offend you, an explanation is in order so that person can go on without feeling they are at fault .

YES i have to say i had. Even that was really RUDE at the time i dont know what i was thinking of. I had this girl that really liked me and we did a lot of fun stuff. she was a good girl. But at that time i was scared and young. i was 16 at that time. i didnt know what love was. she told me she really loved me. i didnt know what to say back too her. i was shocked! Then i stop talking to her. and try to block her out of my life. i change my AIM, MYSPACE, and ETC. Then after time it took me 3 long years. to really know that she was a good girl. But when i found out in 3 years it is already too late. So i had to go back. and find her and call her. i told her on the phone right when she picked up. i said "Sorry Tina, I am sorry that it took me so long to thank you for all the good times we had". and she didnt say anything. and i think she was crying on the phone so i asked are you okay. she said Yes so i am trying to say if you ever did anything wrong. Go back and say sorry because it means a lot.

i have done it more than once before i got really hurt when my ex did that too me...just broke it off with no reason...now i understand that ppl shouldn't break up like that...it takes a lot longer for someone to get over u if u give them no reason

my friend broke up with his girlfriend coz he can no longer deal with her not-so-pleasing attitude. Now he has a new girl and his ex found out. they no longer talk to each other and that was it.

i have definitely done that. sometimes that's what they deserve. it definitely leaves them wondering, but honestly some people may no longer deserve to hear your voice...
